dc.description.abstractAspergillus aculeatus is a common saprophyte and ubiquitous fungus belonging to section Nigri. They produce diverse secondary metabolites which are important in biological processes and industrial applications. We present the draft genome sequences of two A. aculeatus isolated from cashew nuts from coastal Kenya.
