dc.description.abstractZooplankton samples were collected, using a 60µm nansen net, from Lake Victoria and adjacent water bodies with emphasis being placed on the different habitats within the ecosystems. A total of 116 species were identified, 63 rotifers, 24 cladocerans and 29 copepods. A number of these were new records for the zooplankton fauna for the country.
